I have been playing softball since is was in the second grade before anyone else my age.  My sister is two years older then I am so I was able to join her team.  My sister and I played on the same team almost every year but there were a few times when we had to play on seperate teams.  None the less I loved it.  I spent a few years being coached to pitch.  Im not the best itcher but when im on the mound it gives me a sense of freedom and power.  I can sometimes decide where the batter will hit the ball how far it will go.  But pitching puts alot of pressure on a person too.  If you slip up and pitch the ball right down the middle a batter can easily hit it out of the field, at least at the level I was playing at.  Alot of the blame goes on the pitcher too, team mates can easliy blame you for losing the game although your job is to put the ball in play.  Aside from that i loved it but i enjoyed  playing second base even more
